New World Films (NWF), created in 2006 as the trading arm of New World Trust, was tasked with developing the film and TV industry in regions which have the potential for attracting filmmakers, producers and investors to create and develop a local film industry, and thus to support and promote tourism.

The first such region was Marbella, in Andalucia, South of Spain.

Marbella International Film Festival www.marbellafilmfestival.com was created in the same year as the flagship of this project which, since 2006, has attracted many film professionals to the region, leading to the production of many films, strengthening the cultural tourism of the region.

Global initiative was developed to expand this project to the Caucuses, Middle East, Arabian Peninsula and Central Asia.

​

The second objective is to support independent artists in achieving commercial success. To achieve this, a further project, The Clique, was developed to offer what filmmakers want.
